1968 NHL OLDTIMERS GAME M.RICHARD AND TED KENNEDY FACEOFF AT MAPLE LEAF GARDENS
Charlie Conacher 'the Big Bomber' had passed away on Dec. 30, 1967 and a few months later a benefit game was played in Maple Leaf Gardens featuring the Toronto and Montreal Old-Timers. It was a game that was widely anticipated because of the fame of Charlie Conacher, the cancer research fund and the star studded names that played in he game.
