ALL STAR #11 PIERRE PILOTE WITH THE STANLEY CUP AND CLARENCE CAMPBELL

CA$0.00

On October 10, 1964 the NHL All-Star game was played prior to the start of the season. The Stanley Cup champion Toronto Maple Leafs faced off against the best players from the other 5 NHL teams.  Prior to the game, League President Clarence Campbell handed out mementos to the players. In this photo Norris Trophy winner Pierre Pilote accepts the gift from Campbell. Pilote is wearing #11 instead of his customary #3 because Harry Howell had seniority. It appears that the Hawk defenceman was more interested in eyeing the Stanley Cup that he only won once but should have won more.

Professionally developed in a lustre or metallic paper finish photograph.

Framed or unframed.

Dimensions: 11”X14”.
