1968 NHL ALL STAR GAME GLENN HALL AND BOBBY ORR
Jan. 16, 1968 - 21st NHL All-Star Game from MLG. It was the last time the Stanley Cup Champions played the best of the league which now included 6 expansion teams. Most hockey fans are familiar with the iconic photo of Bobby Orr flying through the air after scoring the Cup winning goal in 1970 against Glenn Hall. The two legends were actually teammates for one period in this All-Star game which was Bobby Orr's first ever - with many more to come. Note: he wore #5 and Glenn Hall wore # 25 representing the St. Louis Blues. Two legendary Hall of Famers as unlikely teammates.
